Ola Aina, a Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest defender, has confirmed his team’s intention to go all the way in this season’s FA Cup, Soccernet.ng reported.

This season, the 28-year-old has been a constant presence for the Reds in the English Premier League, and his strong performances have led to speculation that he could join Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.

Nottingham Forest have won the FA Cup twice, and they will host Luton Town at the City Ground in the tournament’s third round.

Ahead of the game, Ola Aina praised Luton’s quality while also stating that the City Ground crowd should be able to help Nuno’s team win this evening.

“It’s a tough game, but I believe we’ll be prepared, and it’ll be a nice game. I believe it will benefit the team if we can make an FA Cup run. It’s a magic competition, so anything may happen. The guys are excited to play in it and see how far we can go.

“The supporters are our twelfth man, home and away, and they’re just as loud. Thank you so much. The only way we can repay them is to gain three points every week, which is what we’ve been doing recently,” the former Chelsea player said in statements published on the FA Cup official website.
