Tom Lawrence could leave Rangers in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

The outlet reported via their website on 30 December that the attacker is one of four first-team players the Gers could look to sell when the window opens later this week.

As well as the 30-year-old, Ridvan Yilmaz, Rabbi Matondo and Cyriel Dessers could also be on their way out of Ibrox in January.

Tom Lawrence hit by Rangers injury curse

Lawrence has not featured for the Light Blues since their 2-1 win against Motherwell in the Scottish League Cup semi-finals on 3 November.

There was hope initially that the Wales international would return to action in November itself, but he is still nowhere to be seen.

However, it is worth noting that he was a regular under Philippe Clement before his injury setback.

Lawrence bagged five goals and two assists from 15 appearances across all competitions, scoring every 209 minutes, before being sidelined.

The former Derby County ace, though, has his contract running out at the end of the season and that is perhaps why Rangers are prepared to sell him in January.

Clement’s side are actively looking for new signings in the winter transfer window but may have to sell before they can add more players to their ranks.

They could also use the money raised from Lawrence’s sale to fund moves for new players.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if the Glasgow giants can find takers for Dessers, Yilmaz and Matondo.

In other Rangers news, Clement should have kicked Gers staff out of his office after what happened recently.
